His early films - "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", "Snatch", "Revolver", "Rock and Rolla" - are dedicated to the criminal world of London, shown in the spirit of black comedy, for which Ritchie was often compared to Quentin Tarantino. In the 2010s, Ritchie began filming more big-budget blockbusters, including Sherlock Holmes, The Agents of U.N.C.L.E., Sword of King Arthur, and Aladdin. He returned to the crime genre in the films "The Gentlemen" and "Wrath of Man"
