Certified Authentic autograph in book (C 556). Yuri Trifonov (1925-1981). Soviet writer, poet, master of “urban” prose, one of the main figures in the literary process of the 1960-1970s in the USSR. It was “The House on the Embankment” that brought the greatest fame to the writer - the story described the life and morals of the residents of a government house in the 1930s. Trifonov's prose is often autobiographical. Its main topic is the fate of the intelligentsia during the years of Stalin’s rule, understanding the consequences of these years for the morality of the nation.
