Certified Authentic autograph on the cover of the magazine (C 64/2). Lech Walesa (1943). Polish politician, activist and human rights defender, first leader of the Solidarity trade union, President of Poland in 1990-1995. In 1983 he received the Nobel Peace Prize, the medal of which he donated to the Jasna Góra monastery in Częstochowa. In the 1990 presidential elections, Walesa, after an impressive victory, was elected President of Poland in the second round, gaining 74.25% of the vote. He faced the difficult problems of political instability and Poland's transition to a free market economy.
