Maksym Shatskykh (1978) is an Uzbek football player with Ukrainian citizenship, striker. He is best known for his performances as part of Dynamo Kyiv and the national team of Uzbekistan. The football player's successful game attracted the interest of the scouts of Kyiv "Dynamo", which bought the football player's contract right in the middle of the season, in July 1999. A day later, on July 24, 1999, Shatskikh made his debut in the main team of "Dynamo" in the championship match against Lviv "Karpaty". Maksym made his debut in the starting line-up immediately in the European Cups, in the qualification with "Zhalgiris", and scored a double, becoming the hero of that match. During ten seasons at "Dynamo", Maksym twice became the top scorer in the championships of Ukraine, three times - in the Cup of Ukraine, scored 23 goals in the European Cups and 97 — in the top league (among them 4 hat-tricks), becoming the most productive player of "Dynamo" in history and joining the Oleg Blokhin Club.
