Nicolas Cage, (1964) is a famous American actor, producer and director. Cage comes from the famous Coppola family: he is the nephew of the famous director Francis Ford Coppola. To avoid accusations of using his family connections to advance his career, he changed his surname to Cage, which was inspired by the Marvel Comics character Luke Cage.

Cage began his acting career in the early 1980s. He quickly rose to fame with roles in Peggy Sue Got Married (1986), Moonlight Passion (1987) and Let's Go Las Vegas (1995), for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor. His career spans a variety of genres, from drama and comedy to action and fantasy.

Other famous films with his participation include: "Air Prison" (1997), "Scarface" (1997), "National Treasures" (2004 and 2007), "The Prophet" (2009), "Johnny Fog" (2007 ) and "The Mandalore" (2010). Cage has also worked as a producer and director, producing films such as Shadow of the Vampire (2000) and Solstice (2003).
