He achieved popularity thanks to his role in the comedy series Mork and Mindy. Throughout his acting career, Williams starred in approximately 100 films. He earned the title of “The Einstein of Comedy.” Received three Oscar nominations for Best Actor. Williams won the statuette for Best Supporting Actor in the film Good Will Hunting (1997). He was the winner of two Emmy awards, four Golden Globes, two Screen Actors Guild awards and five Grammy statuettes. Williams has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contribution to the development of the film industry. Williams voiced the character of Genie in the animated film Aladdin (1992)
