Certified Authentic autograph on the photo. Rudolf Nureyev (1938-1993). Soviet, English and French ballet dancer and choreographer, soloist of the Leningrad Opera and Ballet Theater. Kirov. In 1961, during the troupe’s tour in Paris, he asked for political asylum, becoming one of the most famous “defectors” in the USSR. One of the most significant dancers of the 20th century, his duet with the English ballerina Margot Fonteyn is considered legendary. He directed the ballet troupe of the Paris Opera from 1983-1989, and at the end of his life, he tried himself as a conductor. He was also a collector of paintings and art objects.
