Description

Valeriy Lobanovsky (1939–2002)

Certified autograph on a magazine page, framed.

The framed composition is dedicated to Valeriy Lobanovsky, a coach whose professional activities were associated with FC Dynamo Kyiv and the national team, and whose approach to the game has become the subject of separate studies in the sports history of the 20th century. The lot combines an authentic signature on a magazine page with a black-and-white photograph of the coach working on the field.

The autograph is placed in the center of the composition in a discreet window of the passe-partout. The signature is made in ink on the page of the periodical; the condition corresponds to the age of the material. The photograph reproduces a characteristic moment - Lobanovsky in a coaching pose, concentrated, with a gesture that sets the direction of the game. The visual image emphasizes his methodical style and discipline, with which his name is associated.

The design is made in a deep black frame with a multi-layered passe-partout of museum quality. In the upper part of the composition is the emblem of FC Dynamo Kyiv; in the lower part is a metal sign with a quote attributed to the coach:

"If we want to get ahead, there is no point in adapting to someone."

The lot is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and has the appropriate gallery marking. The frame is prepared for display in a private office, home library or space dedicated to the history of sports.

Such items are usually considered an appropriate gift for collectors of sports memorabilia, patrons of football clubs, company leaders and connoisseurs of Ukrainian sports history. The work combines the documentary nature of an autograph with the visual restraint of the design, which allows it to be integrated into a modern or classic interior.

Condition: good, taking into account the age of the printed medium.
