Original note from former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, handwritten and signed in green ink to Dr. Howard T. Berman on red-framed cardstock, with original envelope.
The note read: "For Dr. Berman, the little box I brought you from Cambodia contains all my best wishes for you, always, Jacqueline Kennedy."
Jacqueline Kennedy visited Cambodia in November 1967 to help ease political tensions. Her historic journey is currently the subject of an upcoming Netflix movie.
Dr. Berman was a renowned dermatologist and collector of rare editions of American literature.
