Description
A collectible composition dedicated to Isaac Asimov, an American writer and one of the most influential science-fiction authors of the 20th century, whose works exploring robotics, humanity’s future and scientific progress became classics of world literature.
The centerpiece of the display is a title page from “Opus 200” bearing Isaac Asimov’s handwritten autograph. The book was published by Houghton Mifflin Company in Boston in 1979. It is presented alongside a portrait of Asimov, creating a unified composition directly connected with his literary legacy.
The display is complemented by a metal plaque featuring Asimov’s words: “The true delight is in the finding out rather than in the knowing.” The quotation reflects the spirit of intellectual curiosity and discovery that runs throughout much of his writing.
Asimov is particularly celebrated for the “Foundation” and “Robot” series and for formulating the famous Three Laws of Robotics. His extraordinary body of work extended far beyond science fiction to include popular science, essays, history and numerous works of nonfiction.
The autograph, book page, portrait and quotation are professionally presented together in a frame with dark matting. The result is a distinctive piece of literary memorabilia suitable for a private library, office or collection devoted to important writers and cultural figures of the 20th century.
