JACK DANIEL DISTILLERY

An original Jack Daniel Distillery · Tennessee Squire Association document dated March 24, 1978, presented in an artist-designed presentation by Krilov Art. Issued on the distillery’s letterhead, the document forms the historical centrepiece of the composition and is accompanied by a portrait of Jack Daniel and the graphic identity of the celebrated Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 label.

Jack Daniel (c. 1849–1911) entered American history as the founder of the distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and his name became inseparable from the country’s whiskey-making tradition. Incorporated into the composition is the principle attributed to him: “Every day we make it, we’ll make it the best we can.” The words reflect an enduring philosophy of consistency, craftsmanship and attention to quality associated with Jack Daniel’s across generations.

The 1978 document relates to the Tennessee Squire Association, a community associated with admirers of Jack Daniel’s. The sheet retains Jack Daniel Distillery letterhead, its date, typewritten text and the signature of a company representative. Within the artist-designed presentation, the historical document is accompanied by a portrait of Jack Daniel, an Old No. 7 emblem and a dedicated quotation plaque. Black matting, precise geometric lines and copper-toned accents create a restrained, museum-like setting that places emphasis on the documentary character of the piece.
