Zinedine Zidane (1972) is a French football player and coach. Considered one of the greatest players in football history. Zidane began his career at the Cannes club as a central midfielder and later played for Bordeaux, but the clubs that made the Frenchman famous throughout the world are Juventus and Real Madrid, with which the Frenchman won twelve trophies.

Zidane was named the best football player in the world three times (1998, 2000, 2003) and once the best football player in Europe (1998). In 2004, he was recognized by UEFA as the best football player of the last 50 years. In 2016, he was recognized as the best French football player in history according to France Football.
