Autographed lithographs "Great moments in the history of aviation". Set of three limited edition plates #1139/1200. The two endplates are signed in pencil by 24 aviators below their respective images. Signatures on plate 1 include: Douglas Campbell, John F. Whiteley, Haywood S. Hensell Jr., Bram Van Der Stock, Chesley H. Peterson, Marion E. Karl, James H. Howard, Matthew B. Ridgeway, Roland de la Poipe , Bryce Poe II, Walter M. Schirra Jr., and Randy Cunningham. The lithograph of plate 2 was signed by artist Jay Ashurst. Signatures on Plate 3 include: Vaclav Makowski, James H. Doolittle, Robert H. M. Gibbs, Leon W. Johnson, Geoffrey Leonard Cheshire, David McCampbell, Adolph Galland, Charles E. Yeager, Gerald O. Young, and Brewster H. Shaw younger The signatures of José Larios and Eino I. Juutilainen on plate 3 are facsimile signatures, not handwritten signatures. Accompanied by an unusual lithograph information booklet with a certificate of authenticity stating that the set was produced by the Command and Staff College in 1984.
